State University, we are pleased to share a proclamation from Governor
Bentley’s Office in recognition of International Education Week, November
16-20, 2015.
Furthermore, AAIE has secured proclamations from the Mayors of Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Troy, and Huntsville.

According
to the Open Doors Report produced by the International Educational Exchange
(IIE), there are nearly 7500 international students enrolled in higher
education in the State of Alabama, and more than 2600 domestic students from
Alabama institutions study abroad each year.
Events
are being planned all around the state and members of the Alabama Association
of International Educators are actively involved in these efforts. For more
