In total, the AAIE Conference hosted 102 attendees from across the state. 14 workshops and sessions were held during the 1-day conference.
During the Business Lunch, AAIE held elections for its 3 open positions. The results of the elections are as follows:
- Chair-Elect: Joy Werka, University of Alabama in Huntsville
- Treasurer: Jacqueline Maye, University of Alabama
- Alabama State Representative to NAFSA Region VII: Barbara Jackson, University of Alabama at Birmingham
